On Saturday, March 22, former La Mirada High School standout Halyne Gonzalez’s current college team, the Bethune–Cookman Lady Wildcats, won 8-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils.

The game took place at Sunnyland Park. This was their third matchup against the Devils this season.

The Lady Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 5 p.m. at Sunnyland Park against Alabama State Lady Hornets.
