On Saturday, May 3, former Richard Gahr High School standout Rio Mendez’s current college team, the Utah Utes, lost 5-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Oklahoma State Cowgirls.

The game took place at Cowgirl Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Cowgirls this season.

The Utes’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, May 4 at 1 p.m. at Cowgirl Stadium against Oklahoma State Cowgirls.
