Paramount issued the following announcement on Nov. 16
Thanksgiving will alter the garbage collection schedule slightly this year in Paramount.
There will be no pick-up on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 26. If that is your normal collection day, your trash will be picked up on Friday, November 27, along with Friday’s normal service. (If your Friday trash does not get picked up, it will be collected on Saturday.)

There will be no street sweeping service on Thursday, November 26 or Friday, November 27, and no make-up day.
Also, on November 26 and 27, City Hall and the City Yard will be closed while the Paramount Sheriff’s Station will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
