Former Santa Fe High School player and current Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros catcher, Maiya Lopez, will compete in the NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number six seed against the third seeded Concordia Irvine Golden Eagles.

The first game is on Thursday, May 9.
