On Sunday, March 30, former La Mirada High School standout Rebecca Eckart’s current college team, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, lost 6-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Virginia Cavaliers.

The game took place at Melissa Cook Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Cavaliers this season.

The Fighting Irish’s next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 at 5:05 p.m. at Melissa Cook Stadium against DePaul Blue Demons.
