On Friday, May 9, former Warren High School standout Marissa Farias’ current college team, the Cal State East Bay Pioneers, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Concordia Irvine Golden Eagles.

The game took place at Pioneer Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, May 10 at 12 p.m. at Pioneer Softball Field against Western Washington Vikings.
