On Wednesday, April 9, former Downey High School standout Angie Dumlao’s current college team, the North Dakota Fighting Hawks, won 3-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Jamestown Jimmies.
The game took place at Albrecht Field. This was their second matchup against the Jimmies this season.
The Fighting Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 12 p.m. at Tharaldson Park against North Dakota State Bison.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The week of Monday, Sept. 8 will see these former Southeast Los Angeles County area high school standouts in action.
